Applications: Commonly used in ophthalmology, cardiovascular surgery, plastic surgery, and hand surgery.

Advantages: Low tissue trauma, high resistance to bending and breakage, and superior penetration.

Needle Design: FSSB needles are designed for optimal penetration and minimal tissue disruption, with a focus on accuracy and low trauma.

Packaging: Some FSSB sutures are packaged with double-sterile barrier packaging to minimize waste.

Color: Polypropylene sutures are often blue for better visibility.
